Course Overview

Projects are being utilized increasingly frequently to plan and manage several projects at once in the present market dynamic and fast-changing company environment. The goal of the MBA in Project Management is to prepare professionals with a systemic vision who can work in both public and private organizations in any branch of the economy, using techniques, technological tools, and best market practices that are based on knowledge and encompass the steps of project initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure. The initiative would also foster entrepreneurship, allowing for the establishment of new infrastructure enterprises within the country, which would contribute to the country’s growth and economic success. With an emphasis on leadership and problem-solving, this curriculum lays the groundwork for a master’s degree in business administration.

Course Aim

The Master of Project Management program is designed to develop graduates with the necessary skills and expertise to manage small, medium, and large-scale projects as a senior team leader, project manager, or project director.

Project Managers who complete the Master of Business Administration in Project Management program will be able to:

 

• Able to adapt project management abilities to meet the challenges and possibilities presented by the quickly changing project management industry.

 

• Capable of working successfully as a professional who applies suitable principles and ethics to various tasks while keeping social benefit in mind.

 

• As a leader, be able to communicate in a team to originate, implement, and assess a project plan for the development and practice of critical thinking and effective managerial abilities.

 

• Able to engage in autonomous and life-long learning for project management in the public, private, and international domains in the larger context of technology development.

1- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent as recognized by the Senate of Lincoln University College; or

 

2- A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent but does not achieve a CGPA of 2.50, may be admitted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the relevant field; or

 

3- Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
