Our Programs
OTHM diplomas sit on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework, so the level number tells you exactly where a qualification stands. Global Career Pathway delivers Level 5, Level 6 and Level 7 diplomas in Dubai. Which one you start at depends on your prior study and how much professional experience you bring.
OTHM Level 7 diplomas
A Level 7 diploma is a postgraduate-stage qualification that progresses directly into the final stage of a master's degree or MBA. It is the route most professionals take when they want an MBA but do not hold a conventional bachelor's degree.
Because OTHM is regulated by Ofqual under recognition number RN5284, the Level 7 diploma is a UK-regulated qualification in its own right, not an internal certificate. It has standing whether or not you go on to the MBA.
Seven subjects at Level 7 - the widest choice at any level:
- Accounting and Finance
- Logistics and Supply Chain
- Strategic Management and Leadership
- Strategic Marketing
- Health and Social Care
- Tourism and Hospitality
- Project Management
OTHM Level 6 diplomas
A Level 6 diploma is the stage that follows Level 5 and sits at the same point in the framework as the final year of a bachelor's degree. It is the stage most people mean when they ask about topping up to a full bachelor's.
Three subjects at Level 6:
- Business Management
- Tourism and Hospitality Management
- Accounting and Business
OTHM Level 5 diplomas
Level 5 is the entry point into the OTHM route for most professionals, and it progresses toward a bachelor's top-up degree. Assessment is by written assignments, research projects and case studies - there are no traditional exams.
Six subjects at Level 5 and Level 5 Extended:
- Business Management
- Health and Social Care
- Tourism and Hospitality
- Accounting and Business
- Education and Training
- Project Management
What is OTHM?
OTHM stands for the Organisation for Tourism and Hospitality Management, the name under which it was founded in 2003. It no longer operates under that name or in that field: OTHM Qualifications is now a broad UK awarding organisation offering diplomas across business, health and social care, accounting, logistics, project management and more.
